I upgraded from a 30G to this 50G over the Christmas holiday. I really like larger footprint. I decided to go simple, without a sump/fuge this go around.

I've been studing the scape & I've decided I'm going to tweak it a bit. I'll be moving the rocks on the left side back a bit & more then likely removing the large mushroom rock on the right top. The end result I want is two island's with some middle open space & more sand room upfront.

My coral plans are to get more colorful colors & to cover the rocks with clove polyps. I definately want a bright blue clam, some Favia & true Frogspawn.

Lights... 150w JBJ Viper (left)with a 14000k bulb & a 130 watt Coralife PC fixture(right) w/10000k-50/50 bulbs. I will be replacing the coralife with another Viper as soon as I can find one locally.

Filter... A very old Penquin 300 w/filter floss & carbon.

Skimmer... RedSea...I will replacing with an Octopus.

Water flow... 1 Koralia one & 1 Koralia 2

Thanks Guys... Hemp, the 55G is just not the width I wanted. The 50G is a wider, more space width wise... Will, it may be a while before I rescape. Sometime in the near future I want to set up a marine planted tank & I will be using some of the rock out of my 50G.
